PCKproud Day Tomorrow
Tomorrow is the first Friday of the month, so it is a PCKproud Day. Students may wear any PCK shirt, including spirit wear, with blue jeans or uniform bottoms. No other bottoms are allowed, including leggings. We can't wait to see everyone's school spirit tomorrow!
Dress Down For Graduation
Next Thursday, March 10, all PCK students may dress down in exchange for a donation of $1 or more. All money raised will go towards our 8th grade graduation activities. Thanks for supporting our grads!
Gala Tickets Are On Sale Now
Get your tickets for a night to remember! The Gala is your chance to dress up and enjoy an adults-only night out at the Colorado Golf Club with delicious food, drinks, entertainment, and your friends from PCK. Tickets include a plated entree, welcome drink, drink ticket, salad, and dessert. You can also purchase a table of eight tickets, which includes two bottles of wine for the table. Get more information here, or go to PCKGala.com. The Gala is April 23 at 6:00pm.
Basket Volunteers
Volunteers are still needed to assemble grade level gift baskets for our auction. Students will bring in items that the volunteer uses to assemble the basket. Volunteers can put their baskets together at any time convenient for them. The basket that gets the highest bid wins a Kona Ice party for the whole grade. If you are interested in helping, please click here for the the Sign Up Genius. Parents can work together to add to the fun!
Do You Own A Business?
We are still looking for donations from the PCK family for our silent auction. If you run a small business, a donation of your product or service would let the PCK community know about your company. The silent auction is online for all PCK families to see and bid on. Monetary donations are also accepted and are greatly appreciated. Please contact Laura Erhuy with questions or to arrange a pick up of your donation.
Sponsor Spotlight
This week we would like to thank the Dudnick family with A1 Garage Doors for their $1,000 sponsorship! Christian and Shannon have two children at PCK; Caitlin is in 3rd grade and Morgan is in 8th. The Dudnick family has generously sponsored the Spring Gala and Auction for three years. A1 Garage Doors provides garage door installation and repairs, as well as garage door openers, and 24/7 emergency service to the entire Denver Metro area. They also offer a special discount to teachers, military members and veterans, as well as police and fire departments. Give them a call for a free quote!
Time Is Running Out
There are only 53 school days left this year! If you have not yet completed your 20-hour volunteer commitment, it is not too late. There are still opportunities to have fun while helping the school. Go to thefoundation@ckcs.net, pckpta@ckcs.net, or the Volunteer page on our website to see where you can help. If you have not yet logged the time you've already spent volunteering, please be sure to record your hours.
