About Mr. Borgardt

Hello! My name is Mr. Borgardt, and I’m thrilled to be part of the PCK team. This is my second year at PCK, where I serve as both the Communications Specialist and Athletic Director.

 

I’m originally from northern Illinois and earned my degree in Journalism from Illinois State University, specializing in sports journalism. During my time at ISU, I received a certificate of excellence in sports multimedia reporting and had the opportunity to do play-by-play and color commentary for ESPN+. After graduating, I became the News and Sports Director for ESPN Radio WKBV in Indiana.

 

After a year in radio, I felt I needed to make a meaningful shift—one that would allow me to connect more personally with a community. That decision led me here to PCK, and I couldn’t be more grateful. This community has been incredibly welcoming, and I’m proud to be part of it.

 

When I’m not at school, you can usually find me exploring the great outdoors—hiking, biking, or snowboarding in the winter. I’m a passionate fan of the Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Bulls, and a lifelong Star Wars enthusiast.

 

I’m looking forward to meeting even more members of our amazing PCK community this year and am excited to continue contributing to such a special school.
