Hello Families!
I’m so excited to begin my first year as a classroom teacher and seventh year in education! Before teaching first grade, I worked as a reading interventionist here at PCK and taught pre-kindergarten for five years in Michigan. I grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and graduated from Grand Valley State University with a degree in Elementary Education. While I miss the lakes back home, I’ve loved exploring the mountains since moving to Colorado two years ago.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy gardening, watching Detroit Lions football, rock-hunting, and crafting (crocheting, cricuting, and resin jewelry are my current favorites). I’m engaged to my fiancé, Cole, and we’re currently planning our wedding. No kids or pets yet—but I hope to adopt a dog soon!
