Meet Our Teachers
Kindergarten Teachers
Mrs. Gallup
Hello, my name is Haley Gallup. I am excited to be teaching Kindergarten this year! This will be my sixth year teaching at PCK. Here's a little more about me.
I was born and raised in Illinois, where I am one of six siblings. I grew up actively participating in various sports, which fueled my passion for athletics and provided me the opportunity to attend the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. While pursuing my bachelor's degree in education, I was a member of the cross country and track teams at UH (Go Bows!). My husband and I met through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes on campus, and we have been happily married for seven years. He grew up in Colorado and attended Chaparral High School. Since getting married, we have lived in Hawai'i, North Carolina, and Colorado. We moved to Colorado in 2020 and have been enjoying all the beautiful offerings of this state.
I am looking forward to teaching your child this year! Please feel free to contact me: [email protected]

Mrs. Ortega
Hi! I am Gabrielle Ortega! I am so excited to be your student's teacher this year! I graduated from Colorado State University (Go Rams!) in 2018 and began my teaching career in 2020. This is my 5th year teaching and my 2nd year teaching at Parker Core Knowledge. I taught 5th grade my first year of teaching and this will be my 4th year teaching Kindergarten! I knew I wanted to be a teacher from a very young age, so living out my dream every single day is pretty awesome!
In my free time I like to read, hike with my husband and dogs, watch the Broncos and Nuggets win and travel the world!
This year is going to be great! Thank you for trusting me with your student, please do not hesitate to reach out to me throughout the school year as questions or concerns arise!

Mrs. Holton
My name is Sarah Holton and I could not be more excited to be teaching your child this year!
I am a Colorado native, growing up just north of here in Westminster. My parents still currently live down there. I have an older sister, Kathryn, who lives in Idaho with her husband, Chase, and three kids, Maci, Jake, and Lexi. They are both high school teachers and own a buffalo ranch.
It was my husband, Andrew, that brought me down to Parker. We have been married eight years. Andrew is a police officer in Lone Tree. We have three boys, Everett (5), Theodore (3), and Maxwell (1).
I attended the University of Northern Colorado for my undergraduate degree and continued on with Regis University to get my Masters in Reading. I started here at PCK in 2015 and spent five years teaching the third graders. This will be my sixth year teaching the kindies.
I want to assure you that I only want what is best for your child. I am determined to make the year a great one. I look forward to building a relationship with you as well. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any concerns, or fun stories, throughout the year!

Ms. Ackerman
Hi Families! My name is Ms. Ackerman and I'm thrilled to be joining PCK this year! I grew up in North Riverside, Illinois and graduated from Elmhurst University in May 2021 with a degree in Elementary Education and Reading Teacher Endorsement. After graduation, I began my teaching journey in Port Richey, Florida, where I taught Kindergarten. Three years ago, I moved to Colorado Springs, and I've continued teaching preschool and kindergarten ever since!
When I'm not in the classroom I love spending time with my boyfriend and our dog, Charlie. I also enjoy cooking, baking, being with family and friends, and exploring the outdoors.
I'm so excited to get to know your child and be part of their learning journey this year. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom where every student can grow, thrive, and reach their full potential. I believe in setting high expectations while meeting each student where they are.
Im looking forward to a fantastic year together!
