Mrs. McCarthy
Hello! This will be my 15th year in education. I have taught in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades, and also reading intervention groups. However, 1st grade is my absolute favorite! First Graders are so sweet, they love to learn, the curriculum is fun to teach, and the student growth is amazing!
I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and moved to Parker, Colorado with my family when I was a junior in high school. I graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA in Psychology and my Elementary Certification in 1997, and a Masters degree in Instruction and Curriculum, with an emphasis in Literacy in 2001.
My husband, Jason, and I have been married for 23 years. We have three boys, all who attended PCK since kindergarten: Connor (21), Jack (17), and Alexander (14). My family is active at our church, along with a local Boy Scout Troop, and Ponderosa baseball. In my free time I love to read, cook, travel, and watch football.

Mrs. Dodge
Hello Families! This is my 19th year in education. I taught pre-kindergarten for two years and 1st grade for 14 years at a charter school in Aurora. This is my 3rd year at PCK, I am so excited to be apart of such an amazing school community. I love teaching 1st grade, they have a love of learning that is contagious and makes me want to learn right alongside them.
I grew up in Colorado and I am proud to say that I am a Colorado native. I attended both Aurora and Cherry Creek Schools. I graduated from University of Colorado at Denver with a BA in Elementary Education.
I have been married for three years to my husband Drew. I am a dog mom, and have a two year old sheepadoodle named Toby Keith. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, crafting with my Cricut, cooking and watching college football. Go Gators!
