Thank You!!

October was a busy month and there are many to thank for their dedication and support of various activities.

Vision/Hearing Screening
Thank you to Patti Williams for coordinating the two days of screenings for all of the students.  A big thank you to the following volunteers who helped: Cyndi Erdmann, Tammy Johnson, Lisa Olofson, Keri Dermer, Kim Hicken, Diane Flores, Valerie Olvera, Laura Jordan, Mary Munekata, Michelle Utley, Melissa Edwards, Laurie VanDoozer, Janet Belter, Lisa Mizer & Rob Leenerts.

Artist of the Month
Thank you to Leslie Hopkins and her committee for planning the curriculum for our Artist of the Month lesson in October.  A big thank you to the following volunteers who presented the Artist of the Month information to the students: Judy Schofield, Char Macauley, Stephanie Schannuth, Tanya Bouthillier, Teresa Harvey, LaDonna Barker, Melissa Edwards, Shelly Vogt.  We also want to extend our appreciation to Ali Hinkle and Trish Ackerman, our CKCS art teachers, for their help with this special program.
Fall Parties
Thank you to the many Classroom Coordinators, party planners and many volunteers who helped make the fall parties a success in every grade.  I saw so many volunteers delivering goodies, helping with games and crafts and  making the afternoon special for the kids.  Thank you to the Middle School Coordinators Juli Mansfield, Carolyn Preston & Sara Mills for planning an awesome Middle School party.  Many thanks to Shannon Clark, Sonia Benglen and DaraLynn Sowell for helping the day of the middle school party.

Book Fair
Thank you to Stacy Spindler and Alyson Weaver for the many hours of preparation and execution they put into the fall book fair.  The students certainly went wild for books.  Like many activities at CKCS the Book Fair would not have been possible without the many volunteers helping with set up, assisting students and working that cash register.  Thank you to all of the volunteers.

Last year we booked over 10,000 volunteer hours!

With your help, this year, we can book even more!!
