8^th Grade Graduation

Invitations were printed and five were sent home with your child.  If you would like more, please let the office know.

Rehearsal for the Graduation Ceremony will be held from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at PEPC on the day of graduation (May 24th).  Please have your 8^th grader in place by 9:30.  The rehearsal and graduation ceremony will take place in the lower,  main sanctuary.  Girls, please bring the shoes you will wear that night to practice in. We will finish with rehearsal at 11:30 - please pick you child up at that time.

Baby Pictures - We would like to display a baby picture of your 8^th grader at the graduation reception.  Please send in a framed picture, with your child’s name on the back to the graduation rehearsal.

Attire for Graduation - should be a nice attire/outfit;  something they would wear to a nice restaurant or church.

Graduation Ceremony - Please have your 8^th grader at the church by 6:00 pm. The actual ceremony will begin at 6:30 pm.  It will last approximately 1 hour,  from 6:30 – 7:30 pm. 

Reception will be held in the lobby of the church immediately following the ceremony.  Cake and punch will be served.  Parents please take home the framed picture of your child after the reception.

The Graduation Party will start at 8:00 p.m.  It will be held upstairs in the youth area of the church.  This year’s party is a “Costume” party – costumes, no costumes,  masquerade masks, etc. (whatever you want) There will be a DJ for dancing as well as lots of food and fun for the 8th graders! The party ends at 10:30 p.m. Please pick up promptly.

Thank you so much to all of you for being so willing to help.  We have a wonderful graduation committee and school staff working hard on all the details to make this a memorable culmination to your child’s years at PCK.  A special thanks to Brian Patterson  for heading up the graduation committee.
