Welcome Our New PCK Board Members
Extra Caution Needed During Construction
If you use our north carpool loop, you have undoubtedly seen the construction crews hard at work on the neighborhood west of the school. When driving on Center Park Loop, please exercise extreme caution as there are many construction vehicles going in and out, and on a few occasions trucks have been spotted going the wrong direction in the loop. We want all of our families to stay safe!
Butter Braid Delivery
Butter Braids went home yesterday. Small orders were delivered to students in their classrooms. Large orders need to be picked up by parents at PCK, so if you didn’t get yours yesterday, please stop by the school today before 4:00.
Check Thursday Folders For FunD Run Information
The annual PCK FunD Run is Friday, April 27. Our students love this event and we make it a fun day for all. Informational materials went home yesterday, so please check your Thursday Folders. Students will learn about this year’s event in today’s FunD Run assembly. Get the details here.
Volunteers Needed For PCK International Festival
PCK is excited to host an International Festival on Friday, May 18, from 1:30-6:00 p.m. to celebrate many of the cultures that are represented in our school community (Mexico, India, Egypt, Russia, China, Korea, Scotland, Spain, Argentina, Peru, and Australia). We are looking for parent volunteers who would like to share their culture, food, and authentic items with our students and parents. If you have a connection to one of these countries and are interested in being a parent volunteer for this event, please contact one of the teachers in the Spanish Department, Mrs. Obregon, Ms. Carmona, or Mrs. Thompson.
One Tournament, One Family, Two 1st Place Trophies
Brothers Christian and Nathanael Trevey competed in the Rocky Mountain Spring Junior Open for tennis last weekend. This was a big tournament with over 100 kids from around the state competing. 12-year-old Christian “played up” in the 14 and under class, and 9-year-old Nathanael played up in the 12 and under class. Both boys went undefeated all weekend, and both took 1st place in their age groups. Way to go, Trevey brothers!
Thank You!

Mrs. Fitzrandolph and Mrs. Miner show off one of our beautiful Earth Day bulletin boards.
Thank you to Lara and Andrew Malatesta, Erin Skroch, and all the parents who put together a week of Earth Day lessons. A special thanks goes to Jennifer Miner for her creativity and enthusiasm in developing the fun recyclable art projects and putting up our Earth Day bulletin boards. You all did a fabulous job and we appreciate all of your hard work.
Thanks to Kelly Anderson for the delicious cookies bars you brought for the staff. They disappeared quickly!
