From The Director
Thank you to all of our wonderful families for such a nice Teacher/Staff Appreciation celebration. PCK has the most generous and caring parents, and I truly appreciate the way you pampered our staff this week.
I hope all of our families have a great Spring Break. Enjoy the time off to rest, relax, and have some quality time together. We will all be ready for a strong finish to the year when we come back on March 26th.
Tomorrow Is A Green Dress Down Day
Let’s get an early start on celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and Spring Break with a free dress down day. Please remember our dress code for dress down days, as stated in the Parent Handbook: No torn or ripped clothing; No overly loose or tight clothing (no more than 1 size larger or smaller than normal fitting); No underwear visible at any time; No clothing that features alcohol, drug, or gang references; No halters, mesh or otherwise see-through tops or bare midriffs; Straps or sleeves must be at least 1 inch wide; No slip-on shoes (sandals, clogs, etc. must have a strap that securely fastens the shoe to the foot); Shorts, skorts, and skirts should be no shorter then the school uniform shorts; Jeans & t-shirts are acceptable if the above guidelines are followed; No clothing that is offensive or disruptive to the learning environment; No hoops or dangling earrings (safety concern).
Also, please note that Apple watches are not allowed. Due to their connectivity, they are treated like phones and need to be turned off and kept in a backpack if brought to school.
We hope you have a fun and safe break, and we will see you on Monday, March 26.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered to make Pi Day a huge success this year. We earned $862 for the math department and the kids had a lot of fun. Special thanks to Patsy Stewart, Kim O’Toole, Laura Saba, and Angie Jackson. Thanks also to Michelle White for making all of the beautiful posters to advertise Pi Day.
